This photo series took place between May 2018 and June 2018, as part of a pilgrimage hike in Italy that followed the way of St. Francis of Assisi. Led by four others, I hiked for 200 kilometers across the rural hills of Tuscany and Umbria in search of some of Christianity's earliest origins.
